Providing caregivers the education and support they need.
Caregiver Assessment, Respite, Education & Support (CARES) supports Washtenaw County caregivers to recharge, reconnect, and regroup. CARES provides caregivers compassionate support, education and respite to promote health and well-being considering the following variables:
• Physical and Emotional Health
• Physical Stamina
• Financial Security
• Perceived Personal Freedom of caregivers

Low fee transportation for you and your loved one

Counseling specifically tailored to the needs of caregivers

Text Talks. Weekly text message program with informative information and tips

Peer telephonic support

Resource advocacy
Assistance may be available for up to 36 hours of NO COST respite during a
90-day period. Participation will be limited.
